335) Paint A Mini Front Door Porch Scene on Wood Slices From Etsy DIY 9.27.24

Happy Fall Friday Night LIVE! Good evening fellow dreamers - and welcome to Fall-O-Stream! Tonight we will be painting an absolutely adorable mini fall front door porch scene.

I purchased this DIY painting project on Etsy from a shop called TheMakersMap, and have been so looking forward to this night.

This little autumnal setting will make a fabulous seasonal decoration in your home to celebrate all that we love about fall. I also believe due to its size that this little display is a great way to decorate for autumn if you reside in a small space or apartment style living.

So let’s enjoy pumpkin spice lattes and paint our way into autumn tonight. Let me know if you’re doing an art project of your own as you join me and follow along tonight. Either way, definitely say hello! Cheers.

Happy Fall--O-Stream fellow dreamers. Here's our completed Fall Front Porch!

Nice work everybody! Here is the front porch after one whole coat of paint that we did on the Fall-O-Stream. And then, after the second coat, drying, and gluing.

I'm actually quite happy with how it all turned out, especially considering how tiny some of these pieces were to actually handle in my hands. And Chef Bryan might have had a hand with helping glue it all together for me, but that's just between you and me.

334) Pre Hurricane Helene: Street to the Beach - Jacksonville Beach, Florida 9.26.24

Good evening fellow dreamers. Join me for ‘Street to the Beach’ in Jacksonville Beach, Florida. Today we are checking out the town of Jacksonville Beach and the beach itself before Hurricane Helene gets bad. We are in the outer bands on the Atlantic Ocean side of the storm.

After this livestream the storm strengthened again from a Category 3 to a Category 4 hurricane before landfall on the Gulf coast. I do hope everyone in the path is safe, well, dry, and my best wishes and love sent your way, always.

332) Happy Fall, Y'all! It's Pumpkin Spice Latte Season!

Hey, Boo's!

Cheers... Some things never get old. And the transition of summer into autumn is definitely one of those things for me. So, let's raise a glass and ring in the new season.

Thanks for celebrating the beginning of fall and joining me yesterday on the tasting journey of having my first Starbucks pumpkin spice latte in a very long time, together. It was definitely as delicious as I remember from so long ago.

Here are some other treasures and discoveries from the beach yesterday - never knowing what we will find along the way, learning a little something about the coast while we're there. Feeling the humid winds, and still anticipating some cooler weather here in The Sunshine State. Fall can be a state of mind, and, until it does cool down here, I guess my pumpkin spice - can be iced.

330) Sunshine & Hurricanes... WhatANut on Amelia Island - My Experience 9.21.2024

Sunshine and Hurricanes...

It could mean the name of a frozen drink, or it could be a weather forecast. But maybe it just means... Florida.

Whatever it means, I thought it was perfection. So here are my treasures I came home with from Amelia Island.

We stopped in What-A-Nut after a fabulous lunch downtown Fernandina Beach. I saw this hat in the window, and it was the only one left with that saying printed on it. It was instantly in my hands and off to the register. Two pieces of chocolate later, and it was all simply meant to be.

Located about one block from the water, it's a great, small gift shop, with some trinkets and various other treasures. But they also offer fresh baked cookies, ice cream, and nuts. The hat cost $27.95, and the chocolates were roughly $3.00 per candy. Definitely worth a stop in for a sweet treat, or cold ice cream, when you're on Amelia Island.

And as I am already dreaming about and pondering my next visit, maybe I'll be checking out the fudge shop next time? Hmmm.

But for now, here's wishing everyone some abundant sunshine - and no actual real life hurricanes sent your way. I do wish you the love for the beauty around you, laughter, and spice of life that maybe this hat can represent when I wear it... As we keep exploring and venturing out into this beautiful world - together.

Good morning fellow dreamers! Join me today in historic downtown Fernandina Beach, Florida! This beautiful town - located on Amelia Island - is truly one of my favorite little slices of The Sunshine State.

Today’s walking tour is in a different part of downtown than I’ve ever walked with you before on livestream. And there will be some new history to learn while we’re at it, as well. Some of this tour consists of places I’ve never been, so we’ll be seeing it for the first time - together!

328) Atlantic Beach, Florida - Dutton Island Preserve. Explore With Me 9.18.2024

Good morning fellow dreamers! Join me this morning for a LIVE walking tour at the breathtaking Dutton Island Preserve in beautiful Atlantic Beach, Florida!

Today we are hiking through a serene salt marsh out to Dutton Island. It’s peaceful, quiet, scenic, and loaded with wildlife of all kinds.

There’s been much rain here along the Atlantic coast, so I’m not sure how high the tide will be, as we are in the middle of a coastal flood warning. However, either way, we’ll be certain to see this amazing landscape surrounded by the intracoastal waterway. As we look beyond toward Jacksonville, and views of the surrounding Atlantic Beach.

Do you love nature? We’ve been here before on livestream, and this place never disappoints. We are here today to walk amongst the natural world - so, please join me on this Floridian adventure.

What a fabulous intracoastal preserve...

We made a really nice 1.90 mile loop here at beautiful Dutton Island Preserve this week! I love taking y'all here at least seasonally now, to help capture the different environment as it changes throughout the year. This was not our first livestream here, and it definitely won't be our last.

For one, it's just so refreshing and peaceful. And two, this preserve captures that 'real Florida' feeling quite nicely. Plus, we always see so many different types of plants and foliage, wildlife, as well as the changing tides.

There is a quiet serenity when walking above these waters, and out into the salt marsh. It's hard to imagine life here without these beautiful, natural landscapes and waterways. And I think that as the world keeps growing and developing, I'll continue to appreciate these precious places and spaces even more, as life continues on our beautiful planet.

Plus, we’ll be celebrating my one year anniversary of being a livestreamer here on YouTube! While I’ve had this YouTube Channel since May of 2020, I only started live streaming in September of 2023. And in that time, it has completely transformed my Channel, including the journeys and adventures we go on together!

So today, we’ll chat about a few things I’ve learned in the past 365 days, after completing 184 live streams. Also, I’m happy to answer any questions you may have about live streaming, whether you are watching this LIVE or on the replay. Good evening fellow dreamers! Happy Friday Night LIVE! And a very happy Friday the 13th as well! Tonight, we’ll be painting a canvas and having coffee together. I’m extra excited for a home livestream since Genevieve Noel will also be here to join in the fun with us.

Gosh by golly - thanks for celebrating the amazing and glorious Golden Retriever with me on Friday Night LIVE!

We really love dogs on this channel, so I was very excited to complete a golden retriever DIY paint-by-number kit with y'all last night. And if you take one look at the tiniest of details, deeply embedded into this canvas guide map, you may think it wasn't a painting guide at all. But it could have been a treasure map, or a guide for interstellar travel, deep out into the cosmos. Or maybe even just a map to a secret island, far away from the realities of modern day life.

In the end though, for $9.99 and free shipping from Amazon, we ended up not with those treasures and riches and trips to the stars or far away islands. But we did find ourselves face to face with a fabulous, endlessly happy, and the adoring smile of a golden retriever swimming in a pool. And it only took us 3 hours, 32 minutes, and 25 seconds to get to that destination.

So thanks so much for painting along with me yesterday! And, by the way, Hurricane Genevieve especially thanks you for including her as well. These home live streams are one of her favorite things in all the world. And if she could choose any destination on a map to venture out to, home would always be her most treasured spot of all.

I'll be seeing you bright and early Monday morning for our sunrise beach walk. And maybe we'll be lucky enough to see some glorious Goldens while we're at it.

324) 9/11. History. Sunrise Beach Walk - Jacksonville Beach, Florida. 9.11.2024

Good morning fellow dreamers. Join me on a 30 minute POV sunrise beach walk this morning in Jacksonville Beach, Florida.

This day also happens to mark the 23rd anniversary of the 9/11 terrorist attacks on America. And with that anniversary, I find myself taking note that my YouTube Channel has a very large, and really, quite substantial historical component to the subject matter that we come across on our adventures together.

In fact, just less than two months ago, we came across a beam from the World Trade Center on a livestream I did in downtown Tinley Park, Illinois (linked below). And just last week, while livestreaming in historic downtown Valdosta, Georgia, I came across another September 11th memorial on the front lawn of the Lowndes County Courthouse.

And in many, many other live streams we have come across other memorials, statues, dedications, historical markers, and tributes to those who suffered and perished in a variety of battles and wars throughout history. And this includes those who fought and died for our freedoms in America, including those in the wars following and because of September 11th.

All of this is not lost on me today - on this very solemn day. And as a YouTuber, where on my livestreams I find myself standing literally LIVE in so many tragic and deeply sad and sacred grounds, to bring you along with me as I venture to these historical places and sites.

I do realize we are currently living in a time where we are witness to the fact that as each year now passes, the events of 9/11 are pushed further and further away from modern life, and into the history books of the past.

So today, in order to keep the historical significance of this date alive, we’ll discuss some facts and history about September 11th, 2001. And along with that, I invite you to please feel free to share your 9/11 story in the live chat, or in the comments down below if you are on the replay, for others to see and read. 323) Downtown Chattanooga, Tennessee - LIVE Walking Tour 9.8.2024

Good morning fellow dreamers! Join me on this beautiful day for a LIVE walking tour of fabulous downtown Chattanooga, Tennessee!

This is our second livestream in Chattanooga! I have the first one linked down below, where we show a different street than on this tour.

For this livestream, we are starting at The Chattanoogan Hotel - which is a Curio Collection by Hilton property. We walk down Broad Street, and Market Street, toward the banks of the Tennessee River. I show you some historical markers, monuments, and other statues and dedications from various points throughout Chattanooga’s history.

We end the walking tour high in the sky above the Tennessee River on a pedestrian-friendly bridge crossing. It’s quite a view, and I highly recommend a leisurely stroll through Chattanooga next time you’re in the area.

There’s much to see, a lot to learn, and some fresh mountain air to lift your spirits high, and rejuvenate your soul. I do hope you enjoyed this walking tour. And I’ll see you in the next one, somewhere under that beautiful sun.

Day 7 of our 7 day September road trip was spent in downtown Chattanooga, Tennessee.

This was our second livestream walking tour in Chattanooga, having been there with you once before on a very hot July evening this summer. And while on that stream, the sun was setting, and the lights on the mountain tops could be seen in the far off distance. On this walk, the day was just beginning.

We started our walking tour at The Chattanoogan Hotel - which is a Curio Collection by Hilton property. We walked down Broad Street, and Market Street, as we ventured toward the banks of the Tennessee River. We saw and read many historical markers, as well as monuments, statues and other dedications, while we learned a bit about some of Chattanooga's history together.

We ended our morning walk together high in the sky, on a pedestrian-friendly bridge crossing over the picturesque river. There was much to see, a lot to learn, and plentiful fresh mountain air to breathe in. It is my hope that this air lifts your spirits high, and rejuvenates your soul.

322) Historic Downtown Vincennes, Indiana - LIVE Walking Tour 9.8.2024

Good morning fellow dreamers! Join me for a LIVE walking tour of historic downtown Vincennes, Indiana! This town is absolutely amazing! And, it’s an extra special treat for me because I’ve never been here before - so we’ll be seeing everything today for the first time together!

We’re walking down Main Street, beginning at the Old Chicago Pizza & Taproom, toward the Wabash River. On the banks of this river lies a scenic riverwalk area, and here’s a fun fact: The Wabash River marks the separation and border between the state of Indiana and the state of Illinois.

We’ll also see the Saturday Farmer’s Market in action, and check out Fort Sackville and the George Rogers Clark Memorial. By the way, I’ve never seen a memorial this massive outside of Washington D.C. So I was most definitely very shocked by all that we saw during the course of this one live stream.

There’s a LOT of history in this town, and we are merely scratching the surface today of all that is to see and learn about in this beautiful little town. So we’ll definitely back on future road trips to livestream here once again.

On day 6 of our 7 day September road trip, we ended up in historic downtown Vincennes, Indiana. This was yet another town I had never been to before on this journey, so I was seeing everything new and for the first time - with you!

If you've never been to Vincennes, and just happen to be driving through the state of Indiana, definitely plan for a stop here in this beautiful town. Situated right on the banks of the Wabash River, this town is overflowing with history. Also, fun fact - the Wabash River is the border between Indiana and Illinois right here.

We started our walking tour at the Old Chicago Pizza & Taproom building, strolled down Main Street, saw many shops and restaurants, and then got to see the Vincennes farmers market in action.

And while a lot of towns have a weekly farmers market, or even only once a month, Vincennes has their farmers markets TWO times a week! It's called the Vincennes Historic Farmers Market, and is held right downtown every Wednesday from 4-7:30pm and every Saturday from 9am-1pm.

When we arrived at the Wabash River, we got to see the riverwalk, some cool bridges over the water, and quite a few historical landmarks, site markers, statues, and even one massive monument at the end of our tour. I was quite literally blown away with all the history in this town. And really, I only scratched the surface of all that we could see and learn in this one live stream.

We will definitely be back to Vincennes, Indiana in the future. As there is much more to see and seek knowledge of. And as I said goodbye to you, standing next to the water's edge, seemingly alone in the universe, without another soul around as far as I could see... My feet in Indiana, my eyes looking across the water at Illinois... I relished in the quiet serenity and peace all around me. And I was so grateful to be able to walk down yet another Main Street USA with y'all.

Day 5 of our September road trip was spent in the charming small town of Frankfort, Illinois. On this very day, I felt a sprinkle of autumn flowing through the air. I considered this feeling highly appropriate, as I had always associated Frankfort with fall, in my heart and mind. So I welcomed that awareness with open arms, and was extra excited to be present in this adorable community.

If you've never been to Frankfort, it's definitely worth a visit when you're in the greater Chicago area. I have always loved Frankfort, but I grow to love it more and more each time I go. I grew up going to the Frankfort Fall Fest, taking place over Labor Day Weekend each year. It was the unofficial start to fall during my childhood.

On this visit, I started our walking tour on the scenic Old Plank Road Trail, with a loop around a lovely little lake, showing you some of the native prairie and wetlands in northern Illinois. Then we ventured through the downtown, checking out some of the old buildings, including the grain elevator and many shops and restaurants.

And while that fall feeling was literally just starting to flow through the air, I found myself spending much of my time gazing at the trees, and simply imagining their autumn colors taking shape. I imagined potted hibiscus's transitioning into mums. I envisioned summer plantings turning into gourds and pumpkins and sunflowers and corn stalks. I said goodbye to this lovely little town, knowing its finest hours are just ahead. And, although I won't be there to see it, the incoming autumnal season will be beautifully cast upon this special place.

320) Downtown Lemont Historic District - Lemont, Illinois - LIVE Walking Tour 9.4.2024

Good morning fellow dreamers! Join me for a LIVE walking tour this morning in the lovely town of Lemont, Illinois! I haven’t visited this small town in many years, so I’m seeing much of it for the first time along with you today.

We’ll be checking out the I&M Canal and the trail paralleling it called the I&M Canal Trail Passage, all made of limestone pebbles. This trail is a fabulous pedestrian route for hiking and biking through nearby towns, and simply just for exercising as well.

We’ll also stroll past a bunch of downtown shops and restaurants, many with nice outdoor seating locations, and we’ll end our walk together at the Lemont Metra commuter train station.

Day 3 of our September road trip was spent in historic downtown Lemont, Illinois. It had been many, many years since I'd been to this charming town, and I was so glad to be back, but even more excited to be taking you along with me.

There is much more to do than you may think in this small town. There's so much history to soak in and read about, historical markers, and large scale murals to look upon as you stroll. In fact, all the limestone used in a variety of buildings and architecture throughout the community has a storied history behind it. And you can learn so much about it through a self-guided walking tour from the Lemont Area Historical Society.

The popular limestone pedestrian path, known as the I&M Canal Trail Passage, cuts through the downtown, paralleling the canal itself. This trail helps promote walking and biking in and between the connecting communities.

Many shops, restaurants and lots of outdoor dining options are nestled right along the train tracks. I must say it's definitely a rail fan's dream come true to have lunch or dinner and watch trains go by at the same time! In fact, we got to see a Norfolk Southern freight train go by while on the livestream.

At many points on our walking tour I felt as if, once again, I was walking down Main Street USA with you. And I guess I literally was. Yet while knowing this was real life Main Street, I couldn't help but imagine the Dapper Dans singing Irving Berlin tunes, greeting guests as they start their adventure headed down the street toward Cinderella Castle. All we were missing was cotton candy and maybe a balloon just for fun.

Good morning fellow dreamers! Join me for a LIVE walking tour this morning in fabulous downtown Nashville, Tennessee! I will be touring an area of downtown that I have never been to before, so we will be seeing parts of Nashville for the first time together!

We will be walking along the banks of the Cumberland River, across from the Tennessee Titans football stadium, and checking out Fort Nashborough as well. At the Fort we will learn about the founding of Nashville and read some historical markers related to Nashville’s history.

On day two of our September road trip, we found ourselves in fabulous downtown Nashville, Tennessee! And this visit was far different than our stop in the 12 South neighborhood in July.

With views of the Tennessee Titans Nissan Stadium, straight across the Cumberland River, we took a stroll along the picturesque riverfront. We walked the Cumberland River Greenway Downtown Connector Trailhead, checked out the historical markers of Fort Nashborough, and saw a river cruise being boarded and stocked with provisions for their next journey.

We ended our livestream at the tip of Broadway. This is where Nashville really knows how to have fun, and is definitely worthy of a future adventure.

Thanks for coming along with me on this walking tour through the past, as we learned a bit of history on the founding of Nashville, and simply soaked in the scenery of this beautiful town as well.
