356) Here's Wishing You A Very Happy Halloween 2024, baby!

Wishing everyone a Happy Halloween!

The witches are officially dressed in their Halloween finest. And they're ready to celebrate this scary night. I wonder what kind of trouble they will get themselves into as they fly off into the sunset?

Wow, five weeks of Hallow-Stream are complete, including five weeks of silly and spooky fun together.

I hope everyone can enjoy this day with some laughter, silly and innocent jokes, and sweetness. Whether it's a scoop full of m&m's melting in your hands, or sticky lollypop shining lips, my wish for you today is that you can go to bed tonight thinking of the happy adventures you went on this day with friends by your side.

And while those Sanderson Sisters may have double the troubles, toils, and then some... My wish with Hallow-Stream was for us to all simply escape any real world troubles and worries, for even a moment, and to share a laugh with each other.

As we scooped up handfuls of sea shells in our McDonalds Boo Buckets, baked pumpkin spice cookies with cream cheese frosting, DIY spooky garland, painted wooden witches, and more - it was all for fun, joy, and laughter.

So many thanks for joining me this month, and for all the new dreamers who joined our community along the way.

And speaking of scary, you don't even want to look at my gingerbread house for more than one millisecond. But I'm sharing it with you in case you are still in need of that laugh I spoke of above.

354) It's Still October... So It's Still Oktoberfest in St. Augustine, Florida!

It's still October! And that means it's still Oktoberfest in St. Augustine, Florida! For at least a few more days anyway.

If you have a taste for a soft pretzel while strolling down historic St. George Street, there are two fine options and I've had both.

Ben's Soft Pretzels being the first, and then there's the very well known Auntie Anne's. This was an Auntie Anne's day, with some pretzel nuggets - to bring home for Genevieve, maybe?

Ben's has a beautiful courtyard situated behind the shop, and Auntie Anne's is located inside the entrance to Pierre's Pub. Both pretzel shops are on the same street, on the same block, within sight of one another. Both serve fresh, hot, buttered pretzels, and both are fabulous. I'll make a point to get Ben's the next time pretzels are on the menu for the day.

Do you ever just get a taste for a soft pretzel??

353) Turtles Swimming at Bird Island Park in Ponte Vedra Beach, Florida 10.16.24

Hey there fellow dreamers. We had just finished our livestream at beautiful Bird Island Park, without seeing any turtles on this day. No sooner than I said goodbye to you all when these adorable little turtles came swimming right up to me.

So I do hope you enjoy watching these precious creatures swimming as much as I do. Please soak in their beautiful message… one of love, curiosity, exploration, patience, and perseverance. And, maybe most importantly, to just keep swimming.

Dear fellow dreamers - thank you so much for your support for hurricane disaster relief today and joining me as we walk Hills for Helene - Miles for Milton.

Today's walking tour is a LIVE fundraising walk for those suffering in the aftermath of back-to-back hurricanes in the United States.

This morning we will walk up and over the beautiful intracoastal waterway, tour Jacksonville Beach on one side of the street, touch the magnificent Atlantic Ocean, see the breathtaking sunrise, and then walk back over the intracoastal waterway showcasing the opposite side of the street. One end of the island to the other… The hills are for Helene, and the miles are for Milton.

We will tour both sides of the street, see two area hotels, and many local area businesses, shops, and restaurants as well.

Additional hills can be requested LIVE. Be sure to share this fundraiser with anyone you know who may be interested in contributing specifically to hurricane disaster relief.

Over the last few weeks, people in the U.S. have been recovering from unimaginable, large-scale disasters. First, Hurricane Helene made landfall in Florida, then devastated large parts of the southeastern United States, including western North Carolina.

And then, less than two weeks later, Hurricane Milton hit Florida once again, affecting the Sunshine State coast to coast. The American Red Cross is leading a massive response to ensure no one faces these massive recovery challenges alone.

Over 2,100 Red Cross disaster responders have been working 24/7 with partners to provide safe shelter, meals and emotional support to those affected across multiple states including Florida, Georgia, North Carolina, South Carolina, Tennessee and more. Tens of thousands of people took refuge in shelters, and we’ve distributed meals, water, and relief supplies in some of the hardest-hit areas.

With your support, we can continue to provide lifesaving assistance and help these communities begin to recover. So thank you for venturing alongside me this morning as we walk Hills for Helene - Miles for Milton.

348) My First Fundraiser - Please Support the American Red Cross For Hurricane Disaster Relief

Hey there fellow dreamers.

Tomorrow's walking tour will be covering the entire width of Jacksonville Beach, Florida - from the intracoastal waterway all the way out to the beach, then back to the intracoastal on the opposite side of the street. The hills are for Helene, and the miles are for Milton.

I will be fundraising for the American Red Cross to help support hurricane disaster relief for those suffering in the aftermath of both of these devastating hurricanes. I have kept these people, all strangers to me, close in my heart. It hurts to know how much damage, destruction, and ultimately loss of life, these storms can bring in their path.

I'm happy to do the tiniest bit I can to help. 347) We Are All A Tile In Nature's Mosaic...

We are each a tile in nature's mosaic...

Thanks for joining me this week at Bird Island Park in Ponte Vedra Beach, Florida.

This peaceful little nature walk truly is a treasure. You are greeted by a sea turtle maze. Then there's a boardwalk around the entire lake, where you can cast your views upon Bird Island itself. Plenty of seating all throughout the park, for picnics and lunch break spots. Plus, buried deep in the corner, behind a path of trees, there's a tiny amphitheater with lovely mosaic tile pieces of art everywhere.

This park is definitely a secret little spot, full of natural beauty around every corner. And just like life itself, we can take all these little pieces of colorful tiles and glue them together to make our own pieces of art, molding different stories, with an abundance of choices, and walking through many different paths. Our finished mosaic tile art eventually culminating in our own life story, that we share with all around us.

346) Hallow-Stream! Let's paint the Sanderson Sisters on wood from Etsy 10.18.24

Good evening fellow dreamers. Happy Friday Night LIVE, and Happy Hallow-Stream! Join me and Genevieve Noel for a night of spooky Halloween fun this evening!

Tonight we will be painting a DIY project of the Sanderson Sisters together. These wooden witches come from TheMakersMap shop on Etsy, and they are in slices of little wood cut out pieces. Tonight we will paint one coat of acrylic paint on each slice of wood together and make these three ladies look their Halloween finest.

Thanks for celebrating another spooky week of Hallow-Stream with us on Friday Night Live!

Our first time baking pumpkin cookies was a success, and they were quite delicious as well!

I am glad that we had a few different types of sprinkles to choose from also, but either way the cookies were just right. Plus, the pumpkin taste was not overpowering in the least, and that was one of my main curiosities when we purchased this baking mix.

342) Hurricane Milton 2024 - Safe Passage Through The Storm

On this day - love and friendship is sent your way.

These photos are from yesterday's (Tuesday, October 8th) livestream (the day before Hurricane Milton) on what was just a 'normal' day at the beach, and a seemingly normal Tuesday.

It's so surreal to watch all this happening. I worry for everyone's safety, and wish everyone safe passage through this storm.

I ultimately have this YouTube Channel so that it can be a place of community. And maybe anyone going through hard times, or needs a friend, or is in pain, or feels lonely in this world, or maybe you're living your very best life! Either way, and for whatever reason - love and friendship. And to know we have a place here where community and friendship can be alive in the real world.

And this right here is part of the real world in 2024. And while we may be communicating through the internet right now, we are still real people, and together a community, nonetheless. So maybe it doesn't seem like much to read a random Community Post on YouTube? Or a random blog post on the internet.

However, I believe it can be something, and it can mean something. Because words do matter in this world. And this post can be a love letter sent your way. Sign, sealed, and delivered with a kiss - from a real person.

So, if anyone needs a place to send in a thought, please always feel free to say hello here. I will be monitoring my comments section as long as I have power.

Today will also be our first sunrise livestream with the new iPhone 16 Pro Max! I am so very happy with the video quality thus far, having our first livestream with it last Friday. But that was an indoor livestream. I’m especially curious how the camera will look on livestream today as we get out into the natural world together with the newest iPhone just released.

Our first ever Hallow-Stream really was quite a success! And as Genevieve sounded like a wolf in the wild as she played with her new toy, she most definitely agrees. So as we gear up for the week ahead, I'm so glad to have these images to look back on.

There was a lot of laughing involved, so much so that my stomach hurt, lol. It's kinda funny how a simply DIY craft project from Target that cost $5.00 per box, with an abundance of very spooky and googly eyes that glow in the dark, no extra supplies needed, could bring about so much joy and happiness.

And I guess that was kinda the whole point. A basic Halloween decoration, iced tea, some random box of angel food cake thrown in for good measure, plus our first ever Dunkin apple cider donut. And we can't forget our unofficial Halloween advent calendar - the Squishmallow mystery box - and we'll call it a Happy Hallow-Stream!

And while it's also kinda mind-blowing that another hurricane is headed to Florida this week. As I wait, and watch endless weather forecasts, and worry about those in the path, and wait some more. I know I gotta keep moving, and keep moving forward. So I think I'm really looking extra forward to our sunrise tomorrow morning. To help us kickstart the week off on the right foot, just as we usually do. But maybe, just maybe, the rest of the week we can throw to the wolves - spooky mystery wolves with googly eyes - of course.

337) I followed a shorebird for 39 minutes...

Good morning fellow dreamers. Join me today, as I observe a shorebird go about their morning routine - here in beautiful Jacksonville Beach, Florida.

I do this a lot. I love bird-watching, and I love watching the shorebirds run up and down the beach with their tiny and delicate little feet.

However, I do want to let you know that, my intent when I initially began filming this precious little bird, was to simply, and very briefly, capture a short snapshot of video of this little bird as it was wading in and out of tide pools right near me. And then just pan away with the camera as it flew away.

But then, this little birdie never flew away. So I just kept filming…
