202) Walk With Me - Northbank Riverwalk in Downtown Jacksonville Florida along the scenic St. Johns River

Hey Dreamers!!

Thanks for joining me today along the lovely and scenic St. Johns River in downtown Jacksonville, Florida! We are walking a fabulous one mile stretch of the NorthBank Riverwalk along the riverfront this morning, and we’ll see a CSX freight train along the way as well. In my ongoing quest to take you to each area of the riverwalk, we have now covered many areas of this wonderful walking path LIVE on YouTube, with the exception of areas under construction, and a few other slivers of space I still need to find.

I am absolutely LOVING seeing all these sections of the riverwalk with y’all! Let me know what is your favorite section so far? Honestly, I think today’s section is so, so pretty. Nicely done, lots of benches, trees, fitness areas, accessible in many ways from many areas, etc. It’s hard for me to pick. I loved the cycle and pedestrian counter, and my favorite part of the walk was seeing all the locks on the bridge above the railroad tracks! I also really love the Riverside Memorial Park area. But, you let me know what stretch of the pathway you like the best? And, where do I need to go next?

Also, I discussed, for a bit, the new information announced yesterday from Universal Orlando Resort! I was so super excited about the five different lands and their various attractions, all information released in a YouTube video - linked below. The five lands of Epic Universe, opening in 2025, are:

1) Celestial Park (with Constellation Carousel), 2) How to Train Your Dragon - Isle of Berk, 3) Dark Universe, 4) Wizarding World of Harry Potter - Ministry of Magic, and 5) Super Nintendo World. So, with 50 attractions, shopping, dining, plus, the Universal Helios Grand Hotel, with 500 rooms, and integrated into the park itself, with a mediterranean vibe. This new theme park almost doubles the size of Universal Orlando Resort! So - I’d love to know your thoughts? Are you excited for Universal Epic Universe? Let me know in the comments down below!

201) Explore With Me: Historic Downtown Plant City Florida! Let's Watch an Amtrak Train and Freight Train

Hey Dreamers!!

Hello from the road, folks! This is the last leg of our journey, I’m sad to say. But, really that just means we will eagerly anticipate the next adventure.

We’ve just spent six nights on Anna Maria Island (complete Playlist linked below) and we are currently on the way home, stopping for a nice little rest and to stretch our legs in Plant City, Florida. I have never been to Plant City, so you’ll be on my first visit with me.

We’re here to take a glimpse of the lovely historic downtown, and to catch some trains as they go by the depot. This train depot also has a train viewing platform, which is great for filming and photos, and is part of the Willaford Railroad Museum.

We are going to watch one Amtrak train go by and one freight train today, before heading onward toward home. So, thanks for joining me in Plant City, Florida today, and we’ll see you on the next Floridian adventure!

200) Walk With Me: Down Pine Avenue on Anna Maria Island. Historic Old City Jail! My last full day on AMI

Good Morning Dreamers!!

Why does Anna Maria Island hold a special place in my heart?

Today is my last full day on Anna Maria Island! I can hardly believe it. Tonight is our final night at Bay Breeze Cottages! I sincerely hope you are enjoying this series of videos from the spectacular and beautiful Anna Maria Island, Florida. This trip is truly one of Christine’s Floridian Dreams. If you’re just joining in on the fun, I do have the entire playlist of videos from our time here linked down below.

Today, I am literally taking you on a walk from one end of the island to the other - point to point. We’re walking from the Gulf of Mexico shores to the shores of Tampa Bay! We will be starting off our morning walk from Anna Maria Island Beach on the west side of the island. And we will walk all the way down the entire duration of Pine Avenue - which I would say is like Anna Maria’s Main Street. So I can show you some of the shops and restaurants in the town of Anna Maria.

We will also see the Historic Anna Maria Old City Jail while enroute! It’s quite a site - that’s for sure. I saw it for the very first time a couple days ago and was sorta shocked, and I told myself I have to take you there!

And as we approach the other end of Pine Avenue we will reach Tampa Bay and the Anna Maria City Pier! It will be quite a lovely way to start another day on an island getaway vacation. Lastly, I will tell you why Anna Maria Island holds a very special place in my heart.

I can barely process the fact that this is our final full day on this dream vacation. And I can’t thank you enough for being here with me. 199) Walk With Me - Onto the Historic Bridge Street Pier in Bradenton Beach, Florida on Anna Maria Island

We’ll we’re going for it, you guys! We’re actually visiting three piers in three days, folks. A record for sure. Making the filming of this video LIVE with y’all the third video in my series of pier videos. But who’s counting?

Today, I’m very excited to be checking out the historic Bridge Street Pier in the town of Bradenton Beach on Anna Maria Island in Florida. I’ve never been here before! We drove through Bradenton Beach on our last visit to Anna Maria two years ago, but we never stopped, so this is all new to me. Leave me a comment down below if you’ve ever been here? Good Morning Dreamers!!

Wake up the sun with me on this magnificent day! Sunrise is at 7:20am today here on Anna Maria Island in the Sunshine State. And today we are going to walk and check out the Anna Maria City Pier. Yesterday, I took you to the Rod & Reel Fishing Pier, so I guess we’re going for a record here… two piers in two days, lol!

This will be our first sunrise together of the new year 2024! Can you believe it? I’ve done quite a bunch of livestreams this year so far, but this one is the first where I’m trying to capture a sunrise for you! I do hope you enjoy the start of a new day along the emerald waterfront as much as I do. And we’ll be sure to try and find the Sunshine Skyway Bridge in the distance, of course.

197) Walk With Me! Let's See the Exterior of Bay Breeze Cottages, then go to the Rod & Reel Fishing Pier!

Hey Dreamers!!

We’re going for a walk together today, folks! But first, I’m going to show you the exterior grounds of Bay Breeze Cottages on Anna Maria Island in Florida! So, if you didn’t catch my livestream from yesterday, definitely go back and check it out for a very detailed tour of the entire interior of our beach cottage!

So today’s focus will be on the exterior… I want to show you our front porch, including a cute table and chairs set with an umbrella, and all the beach amenities just outside our front door, located in the car port area for our use. There’s even a washer and dryer there so we can do laundry while on vacation! Plus, I’ll show you the patio seating areas, umbrellas, pool and lounge area including the pool deck and the tables and chairs on the deck. There’s also two grills available for our use - one charcoal grill and one gas grill - Bay Breeze even supplies charcoal for us! We’ll see the parking and the exterior layout of the three cottages. It’s an absolutely beautiful piece of property, and roughly a block from the Gulf of Mexico and the start/opening of Tampa Bay, the location just can’t be beat! We’ll then head on down to see the famous Rod & Reel Fishing Pier, roughly one block from our Beach Cottage!

We are staying on Anna Maria Island for the week and I am filming and will continue to live-stream many aspects of our trip - so be sure to keep your notifications on so you know when I go LIVE! 195) Walk With Me - To the TECO Line Streetcar in Ybor City Historic District of downtown Tampa, Florida!

Hey Dreamers!!

Well, this is another ‘first’ for me… I have NEVER been to Ybor City before, so thanks for joining me on this brand new Floridian Adventure!

Today, we are checking out the Ybor City Historic District in downtown Tampa, Florida. Specifically, what caught my eye is the trolley line in town here! This mode of transportation that I am filming today is actually called the TECO Line Streetcar System. I keep saying the word ‘trolley’ though.

We’re going to start by trying to catch some streetcars going by, as they intersect with an Amtrak train track, which I found to be quite intriguing. And then we’re walking up and down the historic Broadway Street for just a bit. We are on the road today, and I don’t have an awful lot of time or ability to show you everything, but I at least want to take a peak. I’ve never been, and if you’ve never been, you’ll be seeing my reaction in real time. I LOVE New Orleans, so, by the looks of this, I’m going to love it here.

We’ll end the walk by checking out the famous Ybor City Historic District sign, welcoming us in and out of the area. Feel free to screenshot any of the historical markers that I’m trying to capture along the way. I did not have time to read everything on site, but I at least wanted to hold it on camera a bit… just in case you are curious. So definitely screenshot, or pause, and read any and all of the historical markers I try to capture for you. By the way, I love historical markers, and I love trying to share them with you.

194) Walk With Me - Around Jaguars EverBank Stadium in Jacksonville, FL - Plus the Veterans Memorial Wall

Hey Dreamers!!

It’s the coldest day of the year in Jacksonville, Florida, folks. It’s roughly 32 degrees, and I’m frozen. But, we’re still walking, so let’s get started.

Today, we’re walking around the exterior of Everbank Stadium. It ends up being a 1.09 mile walk - a very large property, indeed. I’ve never been to this stadium before, or at least this close up. So I’m really excited to tour the grounds and check the Home of the Jaguars out!

First, we’re going to check out the Jacksonville Veterans Memorial Wall, which is housed literally in the parking lot of EverBank Stadium. I’ve heard of this memorial many times, but never saw it. So I’m curious to take a quick look today, but I’m so cold, so it’ll be a quick walk through.

Then we’re taking what measures out to be a one mile loop around the exterior property of the Jacksonville Jaguars EverBank Stadium. I didn’t even realize that Daily’s Place is pretty much connected to EverBank Field! So, my non-football understanding brain did learn a lot today.

193) Winter Walk With Me! Downtown Palatka Riverfront Park along the beautiful St. Johns River in Florida

Hey Dreamers!!

Today we are walking roughly one mile along the beautifully scenic Palatka Riverwalk in Downtown Palatka, Florida! This lovely route, located in Riverfront Park, will grant you some amazing views of the St. Johns River, as well as many birds and a variety of boating activities. It’s a wintery day once again in Florida, but we’re here for it. I’ve got my hoodie, and I’m ready to get some steps in. And, as an added bonus, we’ll check out all the world war history located along the walkway, including a variety of memorials, fountains, torpedos, statues, and other signage educating us along the way.

192) Arlington Lions Club Park & Blue Cypress Fishing Pier along the St. Johns River in Jacksonville, FLA

Hey Dreamers!!

Let’s set my Apple Watch and go for a walk together along the beautiful St. Johns River. I’ve been captivated by this large body of moving water ever since we moved from Illinois to Jacksonville, Florida back in 2017. I love that I can find dolphins in this water, it always surprises me, to this day. I guess it’s because I certainly never saw a dolphin floating along in the DuPage River in Naperville, Illinois, or the Fox River in St. Charles, Illinois. So, basically, I’m always looking for a way to be able to look at this body of water. And, I’m always searching for dolphins, as well.

And with that, today I am taking you on a leisurely stroll from the Lions Club Boat Ramp to the Blue Cypress Fishing Pier. We’ll be walking along a lovely boardwalk, literally right on the shores of the St. Johns Riverbank. The City of Jacksonville skyline is hidden, but peaking out in the distance. There are ships, and tugboats, birds, and sailboats. The air is cold, the wind is brisk, and it’s just about 50 degrees.

I’m freezing.

But that’s not going to stop me from walking with y’all today. So thanks for joining me. But mostly, I’m concerned about all the crazy weather that spanned nearly the entire country yesterday in some way, shape, or form. We had tornado warnings, and that was pretty scary for me. All ended up fine on our end, thank goodness - but I need to know from you! Is everything ok in your neck of the woods? Or riverbanks? How did you fare through the storm yesterday? Please note - as of this recording, the Fishing Pier itself is closed due to what appears to be storm damage. You can still walk the entire length of the lovely boardwalk though. Plus, this walking path is also part of the Florida East Coast Greenway. We’re looking for birds today in their natural habitat, and getting some steps in at the same time. Hey Dreamers!! Happy New Year 2024 baby!

Let’s celebrate New Year’s Day together by going on our first beach walk of the year 2024. We’ll set my Apple Watch and see how far we get… However, this isn’t any ordinary stroll on the beach today, my friends. As we finish our exercise, we’re going to see if we can watch the Jacksonville Beach Polar Plunge!

This will be my very first time trying to watch this crazy spectacle, so I’m pretty excited folks. I’ve been aware of the Polar Plunge since I moved down to Florida years ago, but never made it to the event before! So join me as I spectate, but I’m not crazy enough to jump in, lol.

Plus, I will be sharing my New Year’s Wish for You, my dear friends, as we ring in this brand new year together. Thanks for dreaming alongside me. Happy New Year y’all!
