529) Sunrise Summary in St. Augustine Beach, Florida - Good Morning World!

Join me for sunrise in St. Augustine Beach, Florida on this beautiful morning. This is our sunrise summary!

On this day we livestreamed at the St. Johns County Fishing Pier when Hurricane Erin was far out at sea. Waves were strong and the surf was good - we were there to watch all the surfers living their very best life, and maybe some birds too.

And actually, as you’ll see, there were some beach doggies living their best life as well. These beautiful sights and sounds of morning time at the beach can make one think about life itself. Life can be so very complicated, so sometimes maybe we should just wing it.

528) Hurricane Imelda 250 Miles SE of Jacksonville Beach, Florida 9.30.25

Life is like a hurricane...

Join me for some sights and sounds (and bird watching!) along the shores of the Atlantic Ocean in downtown Jacksonville Beach, Florida. On this day, Hurricane Imelda is far out at sea. And the much larger Hurricane Humberto is even farther out at sea.

As of this recording (Tuesday morning - September 30, 2025) Hurricane Imelda was 250 miles southeast of Jacksonville Beach, Florida. At the time, Imelda was making a hard right turn out in the open waters of the Atlantic Ocean. While it did not hit Florida, it did leave wind, rain, high tides, strong surf, and powerful rip currents along the east coast of Florida.

517) The Anticipation of Autumn...

A season of renewal:

Hey there fellow dreamers,

Thanks for joining me for a fabulous sunrise in Jacksonville Beach, Florida yesterday!

I must admit that while it's officially still summer for the next few weeks, I am most definitely looking forward to fall... And whether that's for the pumpkins, or the sight of brightly colored mums for sale at grocery store entranceways, the scent of apple pies, the taste of sweet candy corns, or delicious hot coffees, and then some - I find myself wanting the season to change, and I'm so more than ready for that change to take affect.

It got me thinking even more, and I realized that seasonal changes can really be quite a gift to us. Just as we celebrate and welcome in the sunrise for a fresh, new day on this beautiful planet Earth, we can also celebrate the seasons changing for a fresh, new perspective, and another brand new start in this big and crazy world. There are so many ways to embrace continuing change in this world, and so many ways to give yourself some grace, and grant yourself another new beginning. Even if that new beginning is just a new day.

And the transition from summer to fall may be some of the biggest transitions each year that we all go through! On top of the weather change, so many of us have a new routine coming along with the autumn. And even if your routine doesn't change with the season, it still may feel like it does, as we all get swept up in the swirling and falling leaves around us. Maybe that's part of the excitement that comes along with embracing the beautiful autumn weather? I don't know - what do you think?

So after our livestream ended and I did some serious bird watching lol, I was just gazing at this awesome sky for some time, and as I sat there, it just felt like fall. Well, I should say it looked like fall to me - it felt like Florida heat to me. Either way, I sat there, and I imagined the autumn ahead of us.

512) Sights & Sounds - of the Seashore! Hurricane Erin 470 miles off the Atlantic Coast

Join me this morning in beautiful Jacksonville Beach, Florida! Let’s enjoy some sights and sounds of the seashore together.

On this day Hurricane Erin is 477.7 miles off the Atlantic coast. It is a day of red flags, dangerous rip currents and strong waves. While only very experienced and strong swimmers should be in the water on this day, the sandy shores were still enjoyed by many. It’s so fun (and somewhat addicting) to watch the waves crashing.

Hey there fellow dreamers. Welcome to another ‘Sights & Sounds’ video! I can’t even tell you how much I enjoy making our sights and sounds series on the channel. I so thoroughly appreciate the immersion into the world these videos can transport you to, and I can get lost in the scenery of whatever I am showing you, and wherever I am taking you.

On this day, we are sitting beachside, in the lovely coastal town of Ponte Vedra Beach, Florida. We’ll do some bird watching, and we’ll see some other morning activities of life along the shore.

471) Nest Watch 2025, baby!

Hey there fellow dreamers,

Happy Friday to all. Our latest adventure is to Bird Island Park in Ponte Vedra Beach for what I'm officially calling Nest Watch 2025!

This is week two of our official check-in on the Anhinga birds as they are actively nesting on a tiny, little island. We will also see some turtles, geese, and other birds as well. If you haven't watched it yet, the video is linked in the comments down below.

I'd love to know what your favorite scene is? I think mine is part of the second photo here, where this black Anhinga bird is sitting on a tree branch, flowing and bouncing in the wind.

Join me at Bird Island Park in Ponte Vedra Beach, Florida for a very lively and active morning of bird watching. It’s most definitely spring break… for the birds.

We’ll check out some ducks, geese, a photobomb of a cute dog, turtles, and mostly - the anhinga. Specifically, I believe we caught some anhinga spring nest-building activities taking place.

I especially love low tide because there’s so many different images to capture. I enjoy seeing all the unique and flowing tide pools, the shells, and really just a slightly different perspective at the beach.

347) We Are All A Tile In Nature's Mosaic...

We are each a tile in nature's mosaic...

Thanks for joining me this week at Bird Island Park in Ponte Vedra Beach, Florida.

This peaceful little nature walk truly is a treasure. You are greeted by a sea turtle maze. Then there's a boardwalk around the entire lake, where you can cast your views upon Bird Island itself. Plenty of seating all throughout the park, for picnics and lunch break spots. Plus, buried deep in the corner, behind a path of trees, there's a tiny amphitheater with lovely mosaic tile pieces of art everywhere.

This park is definitely a secret little spot, full of natural beauty around every corner. And just like life itself, we can take all these little pieces of colorful tiles and glue them together to make our own pieces of art, molding different stories, with an abundance of choices, and walking through many different paths. Our finished mosaic tile art eventually culminating in our own life story, that we share with all around us.
